Luis Valles Killed in El Paso Pedestrian Accident at Kansas Street and 3rd Avenue

El Paso, Texas (October 18, 2023) – An 80-year-old man was killed Tuesday afternoon in a hit-and-run accident in downtown El Paso, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened on October 17, near the intersection of Kansas Street and 3rd Avenue.

Police said 80-year-old Luis Valles was found unconscious and lying near the intersection. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators said Valles was run over by a vehicle and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
