Jeremy Johnson ID’d as Victim Of Deadly Angelina County Car Crash on FM 1669 near Huntington
Angelina County, Texas (May 16, 2019) – Authorities have identified Jeremy Johnson, 38, of Mineral Wells as the person who was killed Wednesday evening in a two-car accident in Angelina County.
The deadly crash happened at about 6:20 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 on FM 1669, approximately five miles north of Huntington.
According to reports, a truck tractor semi-trailer transporting oil field equipment was heading northbound on FM 1669 when a piece of unsecured equipment swung over into the southbound lane. The truck then struck a Chevrolet pickup.
Johnson, who was the driver of the Chevrolet, was declared deceased at the scene by an Angelina County Justice of the Peace.
The truck driver, Jonathon Keller, 41, of Keller, was unhurt in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
