San Antonio, Texas (June 6, 2020) – According to San Antonio police, a 56-year-old man was critically injured Friday night after being hit by an oncoming vehicle in San Antonio’s Northwest Side.

The accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on June 5, near the 4700 block of NW Loop 410 and Baywater.

Police said there was a family disturbance inside the man’s vehicle. It’s unclear if he was pushed out of the vehicle or if he fell out before he was struck by an oncoming vehicle.

The man was taken to University Hospital in critical condition. The driver that hit him fled the scene.

Three other cars collided because of the first accident.

The police are looking for the hit-and-run suspect.

An investigation is underway.

We wish the injured victim a quick recovery.

“When a person has suffered a grave personal injury in an accident due to someone else’s negligence, the most overwhelming emotion they feel is a sense of injustice. They often ask how such a life-altering event could have happened to them,” attorney Joel A. Gordon said. “The next question usually is, who can help me?” Mr. Gordon added.

A legal advocate can represent an injury victim or the family of a deceased victim. The attorney will file a claim on behalf of the victim and will have the responsibility of citing existing codes, laws, or statues which were violated.
