Diego Mar Killed in San Angelo Pedestrian Accident on Bell Street

San Angelo, Texas (March 16, 2022) – A man was fatally hit by a vehicle Tuesday morning in San Angelo, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 7:00 a.m., March 15, in the 1100 block of N Bell Street.

Police said 23-year-old Diego Mar, of San Angelo, was walking southbound when he stepped in front of a northbound 2014 Gray Kia and was hit.

Mar was taken to Shannon Hospital, where he later died.

The crash closed a portion of N. Bell Street.

The police are investigating the crash.
