Bicyclist Hit, Killed by Vehicle on Farm Road 920 in Bridgeport

Man Killed in Bridgeport Bicycle Accident on Farm Road 920

Bridgeport, Texas (November 16, 2022) – A man died after he was struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle Monday afternoon near Bridgeport, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety

The deadly crash occurred shortly after 5:00 p.m. Monday, November 14 on Farm Road 920 about a half-mile south of Bridgeport.

DPS said the man was riding his bicycle when he was hit by a 2013 GMC Sierra pickup that was heading southbound on FM 920, driven by Tony Ray Martinez, 30, of Bridgeport.

The bicyclist, only identified as a Bridgeport man, died in the crash. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of relatives.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
