16-Year-Old Boy Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 3009 and FM 1683 in Comal County

Comal County, Texas – According to the Texas DPS troopers, a 16-year-old boy was killed Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Comal County.

The fatal crash happened just before 8:30 a.m., April 9, at the intersection of FM 3009 and FM 1683, west of New Braunfels. 

DPS said a 2023 Isuzu Box Truck was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes when it collided with a 2010 Toyota Sienna. 

The Toyota driver, a 16-year-old boy, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The driver of the box truck was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
