Woman hospitalized after Victoria Pedestrian Crash on Houston Highway

Victoria, Texas (March 10, 2019) – A woman was struck and injured by a vehicle on Friday night in Victoria, according to the Victoria Police Department.
The incident happened in the 3600 block of Houston Highway at about 9:25 p.m. Friday, March 8.
Police said the woman was trying to cross Houston Highway when a westbound Mercury Mountaineer struck her.
The victim was rushed to Citizens Medical Center with unknown injuries.
The parties involved in the crash were not immediately identified.
Police in Victoria are investigating the incident.
