Four Injured in Caldwell Three-Vehicle Crash on FM 50 and Highway 21

Caldwell, Texas (April 11, 2021) – Three people were injured on Saturday in a fiery three-vehicle crash in Caldwell, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened at the intersection of FM 50 and Highway 21 on April 10.

DPS said a Dodge truck was traveling northbound on Highway 50 when it failed to yield the right of way and was struck by a Chevy truck that was traveling eastbound on Highway 21.

A tire from one of the vehicles damaged a third vehicle.

The Dodge caught fire following the collision.

One person was airlifted to St. Joseph Health in Bryan with unknown injuries. Three other people were taken to St. Joseph Health in Bryan by ambulance with unknown injuries.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
