1 Killed and One Injured in Bosque County Crash on SH 6 near CR 2475

Bosque County, Texas (November 21, 2019) – One person was killed, and another was injured in a fiery two-vehicle crash on Tuesday in Bosque County, according to the DPS.

The crash was reported on Tuesday, November 19, on SH 6 near CR 2475, west of Iredell.

DPS said a car was heading southbound when it left the roadway, and the driver attempted to correct her path of travel. She lost control of the vehicle and crossed into the path of a northbound Kenworth truck tractor semi-trailer, resulting in a collision.

Both vehicles became fully engulfed in flames.

The Nissan driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Kenworth driver was taken to Baylor Scott and White in Waco with a possible injury.

The crash remains under investigation.
