SAPD Officer Among Two Injured in Crash at Culebra Road at Rim Rock Trail in San Antonio

San Antonio, Texas – Two people, including an SAPD officer, were injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio’s West Side, according to the police.

The crash happened around 11:15 a.m., March 28, at the intersection of Culebra Road at Rim Rock Trail.

Police said a vehicle was heading southbound turning westbound while a police cruise was heading westbound on Culebra Road. The vehicles collided at the intersection.

The police cruiser had their lights and siren on and the officer was responding to a call. 

Both drivers were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
