Gregory Suess Killed in Dallas Motorcycle Accident on I-30 near Loop 12
Dallas, Texas (October 19, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic collision Thursday afternoon in Dallas, authorities said.
The crash happened on Thursday, October 17, on Interstate 30 near Loop 12.
Deputies said a pickup truck had stopped in the left lane of eastbound I-30 after a ladder fell off of it. The driver got out to remove the ladder from the roadway and as the pickup was about to leave, a speeding motorcycle rear-ended it.
The impact threw the motorcyclist onto the left-center lane of the highway.
The motorcyclist, 41-year-old Gregory Suess, was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead.
An investigation is underway.
