Omega Mckinnon Hit, Killed by Vehicle on St. Mary’s Street in San Antonio
Omega Mckinnon ID’d as Woman Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on St. Mary’s Street and West Market Street
San Antonio, Texas (March 22, 2019) – Authorities have identified the woman who was struck and killed by a bus Wednesday afternoon in downtown San Antonio as Omega Mckinnon, an accounting supervisor with the city’s Department of Human Services.
The deadly accident happened at around 4:25 p.m. Wednesday, March 20 on St. Mary’s Street and West Market Street.
Police said Mckinnon had the right of way and was walking in the crosswalk when she was hit by a Regent Coach Line charter bus that was turning left onto Market Street from St. Mary’s Street.
Mckinnon was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the bus stopped at the scene and complied with investigators.
No other injuries were reported.
Police are investigating the accident.
