Motorcyclist Dies in 3-Vehicle Crash on Highway 59 in Montrose

One Killed in Montrose Motorcycle Crash on Highway 59 at Shepherd

Montrose, Texas – A motorcyclist was killed early Sunday morning in a three-vehicle crash in Montrose, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 12:10 a.m., on Highway 59 at Shepherd.

Police said a motorcyclist was traveling in the left lane of the highway and a second vehicle was in the right lane.

The motorcyclist tried to exit the highway at the last minute and crashed into the other vehicle. The motorcyclist was then thrown from their motorcycle. A third vehicle crashed into the motorcycle without a driver.

The motorcyclist was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
