Three Killed in Jacksonville Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 204 near Loop 456

Cherokee County, Texas (November 21, 2019) – Three people were killed in a head-on crash Wednesday afternoon in Jacksonville, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash took place at about 2:25 p.m. November 20, on Highway 204, east of Loop 456.

DPS said an SUV crashed head-on into a sedan on the highway.

The SUV driver and the two occupants of the sedan were killed in the crash.

One of the victims was burned beyond recognition.

Two of the victims were Cushing residents, while the third victim was a Recklaw resident.

Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.

The crash remains under investigation.
