Teen Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on I-45 in Harris County

15-Year-Old Killed in Harris County Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 45

Harris County, Texas (July 6, 2021) – According to the deputies, a 15-year-old girl was killed on Monday in a hit-and-run crash in north Harris County.

The deadly accident happened around 8:00 p.m., July 5, on Interstate 45 at FM 1960.

Deputies said the girl was arguing with her mom when she jumped out of the moving vehicle and was struck by an unknown car.

The car fled the scene after hitting the teen.

The teen was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

No other details were provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
