Motorcyclist Injured in Collision at McPherson Road and Saunders Street in Laredo

23-Year-Old Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Laredo Crash at McPherson Road and Saunders Street; Jose Ramos Arrested

Laredo, Texas (December 1, 2022) – A motorcyclist was injured in a crash with an SUV Wednesday night at an intersection in Laredo, according to the Laredo Police Department.

The crash happened just before midnight on November 24 at the intersection of McPherson Road and Saunders Street.

Police said a red SUV and a motorcycle were involved in the wreck. The 23-year-old motorcyclist was thrown from the bike upon the impact.

The unidentified rider was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

The SUV driver, Jose Gilberto Ramos, 46, was arrested and booked into custody for Intoxication assault.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation by the Laredo PD Crash Team.
