Ronald Joseph Barker Killed in Palmview Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash La Homa Road
Palmview, Texas (January 4, 2020) – A man was killed on New Year’s Day in an alleged hit-and-run accident in Palmview, according to the DPS.
The deadly accident happened around 6:38 p.m. January 1, on La Homa Road, south of Mile 9.
DPS said Ronald Joseph Barker, 46, was struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene.
Barker was declared dead at the scene.
The authorities are looking for a dark-colored, four-door sedan or pickup truck that was pulling a utility trailer, which is believed to have been involved in the crash.
