Aspen Blessing Killed in Callahan County Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 20

Callahan County, Texas – One person was killed and another was seriously injured Sunday morning in a head-on collision in Callahan County, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 4:09 a.m., March 10, on Interstate 20, four miles east of Abilene.

Authorities said a Dodge Ram was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of the interstate when it crashed head-on into a westbound Ford.

The Ford driver, 18-year-old Aspen Blessing of Baird, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Dodge driver was taken to a local hospital with serious incapacitating injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
