El Paso, Texas (October 8, 2021) – According to the authorities, one person was killed Wednesday night in a semi-truck crash in northeast El Paso.

The victim has been identified as Teresa Briseno, 66, of northeast El Paso.

The fatal crash happened around 8:45 p.m., October 6, in the 14000 Gateway North Boulevard (U.S. 54) and Stateline Road.

Authorities said a car failed to yield to a semi-truck that was pulling two trailers, resulting in a collision.

The force of the impact caused one of the trailers to overturn.

The car driver was killed in the crash. 

The truck driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
