One Seriously Injured in Lubbock Motorcycle Crash at 48th Street and University Avenue

Lubbock, Texas (January 5, 2021) – One person was seriously injured early Tuesday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Lubbock, according to authorities.

The accident happened around 12:50 a.m., at the intersection of 48th Street and University Avenue.

Police said the crash involved a Black Dodge Charger and a motorcycle.

The Dodge fled the scene after the crash.

One person was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

No further details regarding the crash were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
