One Killed in South Austin Scooter Crash at Interstate 35 and Ben White Boulevard

Austin, Texas (May 30, 2022) – A person was killed Sunday night in a scooter crash in South Austin, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened around 9:45 p.m., May 29, in the area of Interstate 35 southbound and Ben White Boulevard.

Officials said the crash involved a scooter and a vehicle.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.

No other details regarding the crash were provided.

An investigation is underway.
