At Least 1 Hospitalized after Highway 96 Accident in Jasper

At Least One Injured in Jasper Collision on Highway 96 near Old Highway 8

Jasper, Texas (July 30, 2022) – At least one person was sent to a hospital following a two-vehicle collision south of Jasper on Friday afternoon, according to a local news source.

The wreck happened just after 3:00 p.m. on Highway 96 just north of the intersection of Old Highway 8.

As per the report, two vehicles collided on the highway.

Authorities said at least one patient was transported to Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital in unknown condition.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
