Harold Hagler Struck, Killed by Truck on SH 110 in Smith County

Harold Hagler Killed in Smith County Pedestrian Accident on State Highway 110

Smith County, Texas (June 30, 2023) – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a truck Monday night in Smith County, according to the Texas DPS.

The deadly accident happened around 9:40 p.m., June 26, on State Highway 110 N., just north of Tyler.

DPS said a truck driven by Raquel Santos, 32, of Tyler, was traveling southbound when it struck Harold Hagler, 52, of Longview.

Hagler was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other information was available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
