One Killed in Comstock Plane Crash on Ranch near Del Rio

Comstock, Texas (July 21, 2021) – According to the authorities, one person was killed in a plane crash near Comstock.

The deadly crash happened on a ranch about 30 miles northwest of Del Rio.

Authorities said a landowner found the wreckage of the Luscombe 8F private airplane on Sunday, July 18, and called the sheriff’s office.

The pilot, who was the only person aboard the plane, was killed in the crash.

The authorities are still trying to determine when the plane crashed.

The NTSB is investigating the crash.
