Martha Suarez Killed in Head-On Crash on FM 326 in Hardin County

Martha Suarez ID’d as Woman Killed in Hardin County Crash on FM326 near FM421

Hardin County, Texas (October 18, 2022) – Authorities have identified the woman who died in a head-on collision Tuesday afternoon in Hardin County as Martha Suarez, 48, of Kountze.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said the crash occurred shortly before 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 18 on FM326 near FM421.

According to the DPS, a Dodge Ram pickup was traveling northbound on FM326 when, for unknown reasons, the driver allowed the vehicle to drift into the southbound lane, where it collided head-on with an oncoming 2015 Buick SUV, driven by Suarez.

Suarez was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Dodge pickup, 45-year-old Jennifer Stovall, of League City, was transported to St. Elizabeth hospital for treatment.

DPS is investigating the crash.
