Simon Daniel Spectre Killed in San Antonio Three-Vehicle Crash on I-35 at Thousand Oaks Drive

San Antonio, Texas (September 17, 2020) – One person was killed in a three-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in San Antonio’s northeast side, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash happened around 3:30 p.m., September 15, along the access road to I-35 at Thousand Oaks Drive.

Police said an 18-wheeler was traveling southbound on the access road when the brakes failed, and the driver failed to stop for a red light and hit a Honda Civic, which was traveling westbound on Thousand Oaks Drive.

The force of the impact pushed the Civic into an eastbound Honda Fit.

The Civic driver, Simon Daniel Spectre, 31, was killed in the crash.

The Fir driver was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center with critical injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
