One Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on East Freeway near Federal Road

Houston, Texas (April 10, 2021) – One person was killed on Saturday in a hit-and-run crash in Houston, according to police.

The deadly accident happened on the Interstate 10 East Freeway near Federal Road.

Authorities said a truck towing a small trailer was disabled on the side of the freeway when another vehicle veered out of its lane and crashed into it, killing one person who was changing a flat tire.

That vehicle then fled the scene after the accident.

The victim’s identity has not been disclosed.

The authorities are looking for the suspect’s vehicle.

The accident closed several lanes of the freeway.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
