Six Hurt in New Waverly Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 45

New Waverly, Texas (May 29, 2019) – Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Tuesday afternoon in New Waverly, according to the New Waverly Fire Department.
The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of I-45 on Tuesday, May 28.
The authorities said eight vehicles were involved in the collision.
Two people were trapped in the wreckage and had to be freed by the firefighters.
Six people were transported to a hospital and all patients were said to be in stable condition,
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
