Woman Killed in Lufkin Three-Vehicle Crash on North Timberland Drive

Lufkin, Texas (February 25, 2021) – A woman was killed Wednesday night in a head-on collision in Lufkin, according to police.

The fatal crash occured just before 9:00 p.m., February 24, on North Timberland Drive, near the Insta-Cash Pawn Shop.

Police said the woman was driving a sedan when she veered into a turn lane and crashed head-on into two vehicles that were carrying members of the same family.

The woman was taken to a local hospital where she later died. Her name has not been released.

The occupants of the other vehicles, including three children, sustained minor injuries in the crash.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
