One Killed, One Hospitalized after Montgomery County Crash at Community Road and FM 1488

Montgomery County, Texas (March 4, 2023) – One person was killed and one other person was injured in a three-vehicle crash on Thursday evening at an intersection in Montgomery County, according to authorities.

The deadly crash happened at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 2 in the area of at Community Road and FM 1488 on the southwest side of the county and involved three vehicles.

Authorities said a vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and collided with two other vehicles.

One person died in the crash. A second person was transported to a hospital in unknown condition.

A third person was arrested and booked into jail. It is undetermined if alcohol or intoxication played a role in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
