Emanuel LeBlanc Killed in Ore City Pedestrian Accident on Texas 155

Ore City, Texas (January 20, 2022) – A teenager was fatally hit by a vehicle Friday evening, roughly 4 miles west of Ore City, according to the Texas DPS.

The deadly accident happened around 6:15 p.m., January 14, on Texas 155.

DPS said Emanuel LeBlanc, 17, of Ore City, was crossing the highway when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle driven by a Gilmer man.

LeBlanc was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle and two juvenile passengers were uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
