Officer Hospitalized after Smith County Crash at FM 346 and Concession Road

Smith County, Texas (July 6, 2022) – An officer was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning at an intersection in Smith County, according to authorities.

The collision took place in the area of FM 346 and Concession Road.

Authorities said a Smith County Pct. 3 constable patrol vehicle collided with another vehicle at the Smith County intersection.

The officer was transported to a hospital to be examined.

At least one towing truck was dispatched to the scene of the accident.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
