Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on South Kirkwood Road

Houston, Texas (February 18, 2023) – A man was killed on February 9 in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 7:05 p.m., February 9, in the 9400 block of South Kirkwood Road.

Police said the man was attempting to cross the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by a northbound gray Honda Odyssey.

The man was taken to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

The Honda driver, a 63-year-old man, was questioned and released at the scene.

The police are investigating the crash.
