One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Sherwood Way and A&M Avenue in San Angelo

Driver Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash at Sherwood Way and A&M Avenue

San Angelo, Texas (December 3, 2020) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in San Angelo, according to police.

The crash happened on December 2, at the intersection of Sherwood Way and A&M Avenue.

Police said a white Chevrolet was traveling northbound on A&M Avenue crossing Sherwood Way onto Millspaugh Street while a blue Volkswagen was traveling eastbound on Sherwood Way.

The Volkswagen ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into the Chevrolet, which had a green light.

The Volkswagen driver was taken to a local hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.

The Chevrolet driver was uninjured in the crash.

Officers said a citation will be issued for disregarding the red light.

The police are investigating the crash.
