61-Year-Old Man Killed in Belton Two-Vehicle Crash on 24th Avenue

Belton, Texas (January 20, 2023) – A 61-year-old Moody man was killed Thursday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Belton, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 5:08 p.m., January 19, in the parking lot of Christ the King Catholic Church, in the 210 block of E. 24th Avenue.

Police said the crash involved a white Nissan Frontier and Silver Ford F-150. The cars moved off of Main Street and into the parking lot following the crash.

The crash was reported as without injuries, but one of the involved people collapsed and died. His name has not been released.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
