One Seriously Injured in Lubbock Motorcycle Accident on 50th Street near Utica Avenue

Lubbock, Texas (November 21, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic accident Wednesday night in Lubbock, according to a local news source.

The crash was reported just after 11:00 p.m. on November 20, on 50th Street near Utica Avenue.

According to a preliminary investigation, an SUV was heading westbound on the street while a motorcyclist was heading eastbound. The SUV driver failed to yield and struck the motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist was taken to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The SUV driver was uninjured in the crash.

An investigation is underway.
