Dylan Trevino ID’d as Man Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash at SW Military Drive and Commercial Avenue

San Antonio, Texas (June 16, 2019) – The man who was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in San Antonio has been identified as Dylan Trevino, 21, according to the medical examiner.

The fatal crash took place just after 2:00 a.m. June 15, at the intersection of SW Military Drive and Commercial Avenue.

According to the police, a speeding pickup truck ran the red light at Commercial Avenue and rear-ended a compact car. The impact sent the compact car about a quarter mile from the intersection.

Responding emergency crews had to use the Jaws of Life to extricate the four occupants in the compact car. Trevino was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Two occupants in the pickup fled the scene but were later caught.

The crash remains under investigation.
