Woman Killed, 4  Hospitalized after Corpus Christi Crash on Highway 361 near Mayan Princess Condominiums

Corpus Christi, Texas (July 4, 2023) – A woman was killed and four other people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Monday night in Corpus Christi, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.

The deadly crash happened shortly before 8:30 p.m. Monday, July 3, in the 7400 block of Highway 361 and 100 block of La Concha Boulevard.

According to the Corpus Christi Police Department, one vehicle was traveling southbound on Highway 361 when it was struck by a northbound vehicle that was attempting to turn into the 100 block of La Concha Boulevard.

After the impact, one of the vehicles then hit another vehicle that was waiting to exit La Concha.

A woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while four other people were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
