One Killed in Archer County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 79 and Davis Road

Archer County, Texas (September 10, 2021) – According to the Texas DPS, one person was killed Friday morning in a head-on collision in Archer County.

The fatal crash happened around 6:30 a.m., on Highway 79 and Davis Road, just north of Archer City.

DPS said two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision.

One person was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

Another person was taken to United Regional in unknown condition.

No further details regarding the crash were provided.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
