One Critically Injured in Mesquite Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 635 at Military Parkway

Mesquite, Texas (June 28, 2023) – One person was critically injured Tuesday afternoon in a fiery crash in Mesquite, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened just after 1:50 p.m., June 27, in the area of northbound Interstate 635 and Military Parkway.

Authorities said a semi-truck struck a Chevrolet Camaro.

The Camaro caught fire after the crash. 

A person in the Camaro was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

A large section of Interstate 635 was closed as hazmat cleanup took place.

The crash remains under investigation.
