One Killed in Rusk County Plane Crash on CR 2194 near Tatum

Rusk County, Texas (April 20, 2021) – One person was killed Monday afternoon in a plane crash between Tatum and Easton in Rusk County, according to officials.

The deadly crash was reported around 4:22 p.m., April 19, on County Road 2194.

Officials said the pilot had taken the twin-engine Cessna 310 for a maintenance flight when it crashed.

At least one person was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

No other details were available.

An investigation is underway.
