1 Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-40 in Amarillo
Amarillo, Texas – One person was killed on Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash in Amarillo, according to the Amarillo Police Department.
The fatal crash happened just before 11:00 a.m., April 23, at the intersection of westbound I-40 and Quarter Horse Drive/Nelson Street.
Police said a van rear-ended a semi-truck at the intersection.
One person was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.
No additional information was available.
The police are investigating the crash.
