One Injured in Petronila Crash on FM 665 near FM 892

Petronila, Texas (March 3, 2023) – One person was hospitalized after a traffic crash involving a tractor-trailer in Petronila on Thursday morning, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash happened shortly after 9:00 a.m. Thursday, March 2, on FM 665 between FM 892 and CR 69.

DPS said an 18-wheeler collided head-on with a truck. After the crash, both vehicles came to a stop near a house in the area.

One patient was transported to a hospital.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured.

DPS is investigating the incident.
