Kulwinder Singh Killed and Reymundo Tejada Injured in Hudspeth County Semi-Truck Accident on I-10

Hudspeth County, Texas (July 15, 2019) – One person was killed and another was injured Saturday night in a two-vehicle crash in Hudspeth County, according to the officials.

The fatal crash happened around 10:50 p.m. July 13, on I-10 near Sierra Blanca.

DPS said Kulwinder Singh, 36, of Van Nuys, California was driving eastbound on I-10 when for unknown reasons he rear-ended another semi-truck driven by Reymundo Tejada, 56, also of Van Nuys, California.

The impact caused Singh’s semi-truck to catch fire, trapping him inside.

Singh was pronounced dead at the scene. Tejada was listed in stable condition.

Officials said speed was a factor in the crash.

The Texas DPS is investigating the crash.
