Andrews County, Texas (February 12, 2020) – Two men were killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday evening in Andrews County, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash happened at about 4:30 p.m. February 10, on FM 181, 15 miles west of Andrews.

DPS said 26-year-old Aaron Pinon, of Odessa, was driving a Chevrolet Silverado southbound when he failed to drive in a single lane and crashed into a northbound Peterbilt truck-tractor towing a trailer driven by a Hobbs, New Mexico, man.

Pinon and his passenger, 30-year-old Vernardo Ojeda, of Midland, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was uninjured in the crash.

All three men were wearing seat belts.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
