Anthony Carrasco, Sema’ J Davis and Simon Secundino Injured in Abilene Three-Vehicle Crash on Ambler Avenue at Treadaway Boulevard

Abilene, Texas (October 10, 2020) – Four people were injured in a three-vehicle crash Thursday night at an Abilene intersection, according to police.

The crash happened just after 11:00 p.m., October 8, at the intersection of Ambler Avenue and Treadaway Boulevard.

Police said Simon Secundino, 19, of Abilene, was driving a blue Dodge Charger eastbound on Ambler Avenue at a high rate of speed while Anthony Carrasco, 27, of Abilene was driving a blue PT Cruiser northbound on Treadaway Boulevard and was turning onto Ambler with a green light.

The Charger ran a red light and struck the Cruiser.

The Charger then entered into the oncoming lane and struck a white Cadillac driven by Sema’ J Davis, 21, of Abilene.

The impact caused the Charger to roll over, ejecting the driver.

Davis and Secundino were airlifted to the Metroplex with serious injuries.

Carrasco and a 17-year-old female in the Charger were also taken to the hospital for treatment.

A third passenger in the Charger might have fled the scene after the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.

We hope the injured victims recover quickly.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
