1 Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on US 60 near Highland Park

One Killed in Highland Park Two-Vehicle Crash on US Highway 60

Highland Park, Texas – One person was killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash near Highland Park, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 6:00 a.m., on US 60.

DPS said a pickup truck was heading westbound on the highway when it veered across the center median and hit the trailer of an eastbound semi-truck.

The pickup truck driver was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

The semi-truck rolled over after the collision.

The crash closed eastbound US 60 at CR 1.

The crash remains under investigation.
