Teen Killed in Fort Bend County Bicycle Accident at W. Airport Blvd. and Novar Gardens Avenue

Fort Bend County, Texas (June 22, 2019) – The 14-year-old who was critically injured in a bicycle accident Friday evening at a Fort Bend County intersection has died, according to the deputies.

The accident happened on Friday, June 21, at the intersection of West Airport Boulevard and Novar Gardens Avenue.

Deputies said the teen was riding a bike when he ran a stop sign at the intersection, pulled in front of a truck pulling a tractor and was hit.

The teen was airlifted to the Texas Medical Center where he later died. His name has not been disclosed.

An investigation is underway.
