8-Year-Old Girl Injured in Navarro County Pedestrian Crash on CR-4160

Navarro County, Texas (June 12, 2019) – An 8-year-old girl was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Monday night near Frost in Navarro County, according to the Navarro County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened on CR-4160 on Monday, June 10.

Deputies said a girl was hit by a driver who fled the scene after the incident.

The victim was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in serious condition.

The vehicle involved was described as an old-model SUV, probably a Chevy Trailblazer which may have damage to its front-right side.

The authorities are investigating the incident.
