Two Injured, One Airlifted, after Wise County Motorcycle Accident near County Road 4421

Wise County, Texas (October 20, 2023) – Two people were injured, one airlifted, following a traffic crash involving two motorcycles on Thursday night in Wise County, according to a local news source.

The two- motorcycle crash happened shortly before 9:00 p.m. Thursday, October 19, on U.S. 81/287 near County Road 4421.

As per the report, two motorcycles collided under unclear circumstances.

Both motorcycle riders were injured in the crash. One was transported to Wise Health System in Decatur and was in stable condition.

The other motorcyclist sustained serious/critical injuries and was flown to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.

The crash remains under investigation.
